What data we process

Enquiries and guestbook: we use the details you enter only to answer your enquiry or to publish your guestbook entry after approval (Art. 6(1)(b) and (a) GDPR). We delete enquiries once they have been dealt with, unless we are legally required to keep them. The guestbook does not require an email address.

Server: our web host stores technically necessary access data (e.g. IP address, time, page requested) for a short period to operate the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies

When you visit this website, no cookies are set and no data is stored in your browser. We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising services, nor social media plugins. That is why we do not ask for cookie consent.

Only the password-protected administration area, used exclusively by us, sets a technically necessary session cookie (“hofcms”) when logging in. It is deleted when the browser is closed.

Fonts, maps and external links

All fonts are loaded from our own server; there is no connection to Google Fonts.

The map on the contact page is provided by OpenStreetMap and is only loaded when you click “Load map”. Only then is a connection made to the OpenStreetMap Foundation (St John’s Innovation Centre, Cambridge, United Kingdom); your IP address and technical data are transmitted, and OpenStreetMap may set its own cookies. The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision for the United Kingdom.

Links to Google Maps, Facebook, Roter Hahn or the 3D tour open third-party websites. Only when you click such a link do the privacy policies of the respective provider apply.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent. Simply send us an email. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
